About Me

I’m a freelance videographer, photographer and copywriter living in Suffolk, East Anglia.

I’ve worked for BBC, Channel 4, Eye Film and TV and independently on various professional productions, from documentaries and factual television to music videos, short films, corporate and promotional video content.

I’m a keen and passionate self-shooting DSLR filmmaker and director working across the UK and at the heart of all my work is quality and creativity. As a bi-product I have found myself intrigued by the world of photography, be it live music, portraiture, events or just off-the-cuff snaps. Visit my Flickr page for my work.

I graduated with first class honours in Film & Television from the University of East Anglia but have a strong background in journalism and copywriting too. I’ve contributed to a handful of sites over the past 6-7 years including God is in the TV, Plain & Simple and Faux Magazine and in print I’ve worked at the Eastern Daily Press, Bury Free Press and spent a year as the Music Editor of Concrete: UEA’s Independent Student Newspaper.

  1. Hey Paul,

Mum told me to check your site out and she showed me all your photos from that music festival! Theyre so awesome! Never knew you did still photography! Keep up the good work and it’ll be easier for me to get on update on what you’ve been up to.

    Take care!

    • Hey!

My first comment on the website! (that isn’t spam) haha :) Thank you, I’m glad you think so. It’s nice to get compliments from other photographers. I have gotten into still photography more and more since having the camera for video.

Drop me an email at paulcook04@yahoo.co.uk to let me know what you’re up to/how your studies/work/dancing are all going etc. x
